INTERNET CENCORSHIP || A HANGING SWORD TO THE INTERNET USERS OF INDIA

The latest buzz of India's govt is the internet censorship, the govt of India

wants to silence the internet users by any means to tackle the opponent

political parties as well as the internet users. Some months ago we saw the

warning of IT Minister of India to eradicate many social networking sites

pages, groups & communities from web. Also we know the harassment Mr. Aseem

Trivedi faced for his cartoons & websites against the corruption of the govt

of India. Whether you believe it or not the influence of web media is increasing every

single day.  India has roughly 150 million internet users now which would be

doubled within 2016 as per the report of an organization.Every governmnet of a

country wants to silence the opponent political parties and also the masses to

basically suppress their drawbacks and faults.  India's present government is also not

an exception whether a country is being governed by democracy or

autocracy. Recently we had witnessed the riots of Allahabad, Mumbai( Azad Maidan),

ASSAM ( riots against the ethnic bodo Assamese) and some blasts in different

cities too. In Kolkata also, Muslims stirred up  and blocked the Rajabazar area.

The reason was because of  the killing and genocide what took place in Myanmar against the

Muslims. Reactions came from all over the world on many social networking sites

against these cannibalic moves, People from all over the world criticized the

extremists who violated the peace of India.

Suddenly after this incident, the government of India, without giving any prior notice to

various famous websites authority, banned near about 250 Indian websites.

Again the government tried to silence the internet users. Internet is not private

property for anyone so that without giving any prior legal notice ,the goverment will

block the websites in such a  draconian way. In a civilized democratic

structure at least we, the internet activists, can expect this minimum

respect, otherwise suppression and domination will encourage more people to join the

internet movement. This is the age of freelancing and web. None can snatch this

right from any citizen in a civilized country which has democracy. We can

at least expect that the civil society of India will condemn this notorious and

totalitarian act which was taken by the government.

If a terrorist uses the gmail.com ( a very famous email service provider and

product of google ) will the government ban this  company google in India ?

Extremist people have rioted in many cities and places of India.  It is their fault

arrests should be made against these notorious anti-national people who always

violate the law and order of this country.  In reality, we saw the opposite

approach of the government in this incident they protected those people and banned 250

websites. Later I think they will ban the whole internet and India will revert

back to the condition of Afghanistan like the  Taliban banned the internet in Afghanistan. Is it the true form of free speech ? Is it the fair governance of a country ?  The answer is a hell no!

Here is a million dollar question,  why is the government of India so afraid of internet users ? Undoubtedly we can say that though India does not have very large number of internet users ,but this chunk is enough to dismantle a government any time. Now, media is so powerful and unstoppable in various forms. Truth will reach to people sooner or later it is 100% sure.
